Super tour to the Saltstraumen with Stella Polaris
Today march 11 we went with a rib of Stella Polaris AS to the Saltstraumen. Stella Polaris was next to our cruiseport, so if you are on a cruiseship book this experience, it will probably better than the tour of the cruiseship, for sure! Our guides Erland and Katrina were great. They have got hats, mittens, boots and googles when needed. Erland had given us information about Bodo, the old rocks near the Saltstraumen, the sea eagles and the Saltstraumen. Unbedingt buchen - absolutes Highlight
Saltstraumen mit dem RIB Boat ein absolutes Muss! Nicht nur die weltstärksten Gezeiten sind es wert, sondern auch die Natur in dieser Gegend. Seeadler konnten wir beim Füttern beobachten, unser Guide hatte viele interessante Informationen geteilt.

Great experience

Well worth doing!
We were lucky with the weather, but this was a lovely walk. The coastline is breathtakingly beautiful, and the beaches stunning. We took a 15 minute coach ride to the start of the walk, and then covered 2km of easy walking, stopping periodically for updates from our guides (one leading an English speaking group and the other a German one).

Saw a lot
When coming to Bodø, they helped us to get a look st the city. The guide was friendly. We went out on the molo as well as saw the streets of Bodø and the church inside. Lots of engaging stories and enthusiasm.

Great fun, highly recommended
We decided to book a coastal walk with Stella Polaris as we wanted to learn more about the area. We had an amazing time. Just 2.4 miles walk, where we learned about the creation of Norway, the Vikings and we walked past a Viking burial ground. David, our guide was a first class professional, very knowledgeable and considerate. Crampons were issued to each guest and the guide was accessible to answer questions throughout. En fantastisk opplevelse! Var utrolig heldig med været i tillegg til at både mannskap og innhold var av ypperste klasse. Tror derfor at opplevelsen hadde vært topp om ikke været helt hadde vært på topp også. God sikkerhet, passer for alle. Får alt man trenger av varmt utstyr.
